'Twas the Night Before Christmas...

... and all through the house,

not a creature was stirring,

not even a mouse!

One of the most magical days of the entire year... seeing the excitement in the little ones eyes, remembering this day as a little girl myself, excited to see what Santa would bring, then with our little ones and watching their faces and excitement, and now seeing the same excitement in our precious grandchildren's faces... priceless are the pictures, videos, and facetimes! Thank goodness for technology!!!

As for me, I'm still feeling good... thank goodness. Again, I attribute it to staying on my new routine of water, walking, eating right and staying busy!

I am however experiencing a side affect that I was hoping wouldn't happen... but it started just as 'they' said... right after the 2nd treatment... and it may have started slowly the first couple days, but holy moly... I'm loosing my beautiful, thick, wavy, curly head of hair that I love so very much! I may have complained many years ago how thick and curly it was, taking so long to dry, hair dryers burning out, getting charged 'extra' because it was so thick, but I've always loved it. So this is hard... because today it's coming out by the handfuls... oh my goodness... I am not even kidding! I imagined it'd be hard if it were to happen, and I think I may have used the word it might even be 'devastating'... I imagined right... it is harder than I thought. BUT... I'll be rockin' a new look soon apparently, not sure what I'll be doing or when, so we'll see how this plays out. I got a few head toppers lined up, but have been waiting to test them out when the time came. I am also told by my friend survivors, 'it'll grow back', 'it's only hair'... and they're so very right! It's one step closer to getting through this nasty disease, and I so appreciate their caring advice, input, gifts, cards, and emails. I will be okay and I will deal with it. That's my hair story for now.

As I've said already.... I'm beyond grateful for all the kind, caring gifts I've received... dinner from Olives, special cookies, Popcornopolis treats, all of it so kind and yes, so very delicious!!! AND the biggest most beautiful Christmas bouquet ever.... absolutely gorgeous!!!

And here's what brings me so much joy...

Merry Christmas to all... and to all a good night!
