Tests, scans and appointments, oh my

Holy moly... Mammograms, MRIs, CTs, Ultrasounds, PET scans, labwork, biopsies, an echocardiogram, and a port... all are necessary to determine what I have and where I have it, so we know how to proceed. Over 30 appointments already just to get ready for this journey.

The hardest part, so far, is the waiting... waiting for the next appointment. Sometimes it was a just a few days, but I had to wait over two weeks for the scariest appt to date... the authorization of my PET scan. This scan would show if 'it' had spread throughout my body. Waiting for this one seemed like an eternity, but thank you dear God, I was sooo soooooo happy the results were negative! I lost a lot of sleep, stressed a bit, and cried many a tears over this, but so very thankful results were good!
