Yep, another busy work week... c'mon peeps, 4 days means 4 days, right? Not "let's squeeze 5 days into 4 days"! I keep saying I'm waiting for the dust to settle, but it's just not settling. Maybe this week! I have to give a quick little shout-out to SC and JB for not hiding their faces in our zoom this week. Thank you!!

But for my little journey this week, things were pretty much status quo. Discovered a couple new side effects, minor albeit, but they're adding up. Dryness is definitely one of them, so if you need a good stock market tip... lotion! Buy stock in lotion... I'll help your profits soar! And then there's the skin sensitivity, where I feel sometimes like I'm walking on eggshells, sharp, crunchy eggshells... I've not read about this one, so maybe it's just my own personal side effect. As long as it stays in the minor category, I’ll be fine.

I received some amazing gifts this week… first was from one of our schools, and it was a box full of wonderfulness! Thank you so much QHE… your heartfelt gifts are so much appreciated ~ I can’t thank you enough! Then I got the softest hand-knitted beanie from my mom… she’s the craftiest ever, and I forever treasure these gifts!! And then from our wonderful friends E & J, a delivery from Portos… omg… the Potato Balls and Guava Refugiado are absolutely devine. Oh and then there’s the Friday Night Greek Night… thank you to our long-time friends B & N, for our Friday Night Greek Night fix! It was aaaahhhhmazing… and so are you two! And then a special food delivery from the beautiful A… you are so very kind and adorable ~ thank you to all the volunteers and staff at the Hellenic Center... I miss you all! And then there’s the special FT’s… HB, PB and PFB… you’re beautiful and I love you all soooo soo much!! <3

So this has been deemed "the year of the lid"… (thank you K) and I think you all know what I mean by ‘lid’. A lid can be warm and fuzzy, it can be plain or crazy, words or no words and there are sooo many styles. And it’s truly a personal choice of what you wear and when. I’ve always had lids, but not until recently have I truly needed them. Something I discovered recently, is you can double-up on your lid… by wearing a hat and a beanie simultaneously, your head and neck stay warm… it’s brilliant! It tends to give one a tougher look, but I’m okay with that since I’m now a badass!
